Taking A Stand: Tri-State Rebuilding Oklahoma Strong

The devastation left by the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma is a stark reminder to all of us in the Tri-State to be prepared as we enter the severe weather season.

14 News and our radio partner, WIKY, will be launching an effort to assist The Salvation Army to provide the critical needs including spiritual and emotional care for the Moore victims.

We call it Tri-State Rebuilding Oklahoma Strong.

The relief promotion starts this Friday on Sunrise and continues through 14 News at 6 p.m.

Your donations will provide gift cards for clothing, food and shelter for those who have lost everything.

I urge you to help The Salvation Army in this relief, because they are an organization that will continue the assistance as long as it is needed, and long after this tragic event is no longer top of mind for most of us.

Join us Friday for Tri-State Rebuilding Oklahoma Strong and thank you for your support.
