A wildfire that spread to nearly 10,775 acres on ridges of the Coronado National Forest is now 75-percent contained, according to fire officials.
The Soldier Basin fire is about five miles east of the Nogales airport, which is seven miles northeast of the southern Arizona city.
The Forest Service says the human-caused fire is not threatening any structures.
It started late Friday night and is being fought by about 205 firefighters, who are building fire lines to stop its spread.
Containment was at 75 percent as of Friday night.
Fire crews of nearly 160 personnel worked over the weekend on burnout operations along the north and northeast flanks to tie the main body of the fire in with prepared lines. The south portion of the fire perimeter has been secured.
