Tornado Outbreak

Authorities in Oklahoma say at least one person is dead and several people are injured after a tornado ripped through a mobile home park southeast of Oklahoma City. The local sheriff says the body of a 79-year-old man was found. Up to 35 homes have significant damage.The tornado was part of a severe weather outbreak that stretched from Texas to Minnesota. Twisters also were reported Sunday in Iowa and Kansas.

Be Aware

The heat and humidity will be on with temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90-degrees.  Rain and thunderstorms will move in on Tuesday and the chance will linger through Thursday.
 BE AWARE there is a SLIGHT RISK for strong to severe storms on Tuesday, generally west of the Wabash River, although that may be expanded a bit farther east.

Gas prices have spiked in the Tri-state as high as $3.89 a gallon in some places.  We'll have a run down before you hit the road this morning.
 

Red Cross Blood Drive

the summer months are usually when blood donations are the lowest. Red cross officials hope you will be a hero and donate at their blood drive today, and there's even an added incentive. Nicole is live with the details.
