Spend your Saturday enjoying some wine, art and jazz on Newburgh's Riverfront.
Historic Newburgh Wine, Art and Jazz Festival is set to go from noon until 9 p.m. on Saturday.
Local wineries will be offering a taste of their wines and when you find what you like, you can buy it by the glass or the bottle.
ERA First Advantage Realty will offer a free wine valet for those wanting to stock-up and buy by the bottle or case. A drawing will happen every hour for some cool prizes compliments of ERA.
This year, there will also be an expanded beer tent for all those non-wine drinkers. Turonis will return with tastes of their craft beer with opportunities to buy what you like.
Officials say Bill Woerz is back by popular demand with some interesting wine education classes in the afternoon. The 1:00 p.m. topic is "Virginia is for Wines; Napa is for Auto Parts" and the 3:00 p.m. topic is "50 Shades of Grey....Adults Only, Please!" The classes are first come first serve and will only accommodate 60 people.
The cost of the festival is $20 per person and $30 per couple. Everyone will get their own commemorative wine glass.
