TCU announced Wednesday that star defensive end Devonte Fields has been suspended for two games this season, including the opener against LSU.

Fields was suspended due to a violation of university and team policy.

LSU and TCU play August 31st in Cowboys Stadium (Arlington, Texas) at 8 p.m.

Fields will also miss the home opener against Southeastern Louisiana.
