Professional wrestling was once a huge topic in Evansville, but hit a downfall in the early 90's. One local promotion's goal is to take it back to the top of it's peak.

VEX Wrestling held it's 'A Point of No Return' show on Saturday, which featured professional wrestlers such as Tyson Tru, Zach Hogan, Drew Haskins, Sam Knight, and Terry Eckiss.

Sam Knight battled it out with Zach Hogan just weeks after Arrik McGinnis along side Lukas Lamprouge, and McGinnis' newest protege, Jesse Hart, busted open the back of Hogan's head in Lyons, Indiana.

Drew Haskins, a well-known independent professional wrestler, stopped by Evansville to make his VEX Wrestling debut against Terry Eckiss.

Fan-favorite, Tyson Tru took on Benny Bray in the main-event where they took each other to new heights and gave the crowd a back-and-forth match that kept them on the edge of their seat.

VEX Wrestling returns to Evansville on Saturday, June 15 at the Greater St. James Community Center.
