The Downtown Evansville Farmer's Market is up and running again this year.
It's at the corner of 2nd Street and Sycamore in Downtown Evansville. This year, they started a couple weeks early.
Local farmers, who had early crops to sell, were given the chance to sell their wares on Friday and last week as part of two pre-market days. New this year will be breakfast and lunch vendors along with some musical entertainment. Vendors tell 14 News they're happy to have the early start.
"It did help to try to start things up a bit, and so just try to get our name out there try to give us a place to sell early crops, spring crops lettuce and kale and radishes and such," says Kenneth McTaggart.
The Downtown Farmer's Market gets into full swing next Friday and runs every Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. through September 27.
