LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - The Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure has revoked the license of a doctor who worked at a now closed southern Indiana pain clinic.
Dr. Lea Ann Marlow also worked at a pain clinic in Georgetown, Kentucky last year before moving to the Clark County Wellness Center in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Marlow did not appear at the hearing held by the KBML last month. The license-revocation notice was issued on May 2.
Marlow's license remains suspended in Indiana. In December, the Indiana Attorney General filed a complaint saying Marlow wrote more than 8,000 prescriptions for over 3,400 patients in Kentucky and Indiana during 2012.
A hearing is set for June in the Indiana case.
