A Haleiwa woman charged with killing her dog has pled not guilty to animal cruelty.

Andrea Fiegle allegedly used a kitchen knife to cut the dog's throat after losing her temper last month. She then called police and told them about the incident.

The 36-year-old is free on $11,000 bail. Her trial is set for July.
