31 detained in airport diamond heist

We've learned that 31 people, in three countries, have been detained in connection with a 50 million dollar diamond heist.

A Belgian prosecutor says one person was detained in France, six in Switzerland and 24 in Belgium. The robbery happened at a Brussels airport back in February.

The prosecutor said today that money and diamonds connected to the heist have been recovered. The amounts weren't released.

Authorities say the jewels had been loaded on a zZrich-bound plane when robbers with guns drove through a hole in the airport fence, unloaded the diamonds, and made their getaway.
