The Western Kentucky Botanical Garden is gearing up to host its monthly Walk, Talk, and Lunch in the Garden Tuesday morning.
As usual, it takes place in The Cottage at 11:30 a.m.
Today's speaker is Dr. Doug Harper from Western Kentucky University.
He'll talk about some of the physics that make up hot air ballooning.
Dr. Harper's presentation comes several weeks before next month's Balloons Over the Garden.
Starting on Friday, June 21st, you can take tethered and free-flight hot air balloon rides in the Garden.
There will also be food, entertainment, and family fun.
To make a reservation for a balloon ride, you're asked to call the special balloon line at 270-993-1234.
Balloons Over the Garden takes place as part of the week-long Dazzling Daylilies Festival.
Today's Walk, Talk and Lunch runs until 1 p.m. and reservations are required.
Organizers say there are still a couple of last-minute spots left.
To get one, you can call the Garden this morning at 270-852-8925.
Reservations are $10 for members and $12 for non-members.
