Hwy 56 in Daviess Co., Ky back open after semi accident

The roadway is back open after crews cleared the scene of an overturned semi in Daviess County.

Owensboro Dispatch told 14 News that Highway 56 was shut down to a semi accident that was called in around 7:30 Saturday morning.

Crews were called to the scene in the 6000 block of Highway 56, near 279 and Lyddane Bridge Road, to clean up pipes that the semi had been carrying before the accident.

No injuries were reported from the accident.
