Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating a Wednesday evening ATV crash which resulted in a Washington man a trip to Jasper's Memorial Hospital.
Officials say 19-year-old Mitchell Bath, of Washington, was riding a Yamaha Raptor 660 in a field in southeastern Daviess County, IN. While attempting to jump over a hill, the ATV landed in a way in which Bath was thrown over the front of the vehicle. The ATV then struck Bath in the back, before coming to rest on its side.
Authorities say Bath was able to return to where friends were located, and was transported to Jasper Memorial Hospital by these subjects in a personal vehicle.
Bath was treated for abrasions to the legs and back injuries.
Bath was later transported to St Mary's Hospital in Evansville for further treatment.
No word on his condition.
