Authorities have released surveillance from a Newburgh ATM theft.
Police say nearly two weeks ago a man stole both a front end loader and a truck from Mulzer Crushed Stone in Newburgh and tried to use those that equipment to steal an ATM.
Take a close look at the still photos from the ATM surveillance cameras at Newburgh National Bank on Indiana 662.
Officials say the suspect uprooted the ATM from the concrete using the stolen front end loader, but the ATM tipped forward and the suspect wasn't able to get away with any money. However, the damage to the ATM and the building was in the thousands.
Police say photos of the suspect weren't easy to obtain.
"We turned the photos over to an Evansville policeman that's on the FBI task force and he was able to enhance them, take some still footage of them so we could get them out to the media and hopefully someone will recognize this person or the hat that this person is wearing and notify us," said Newburgh Police Chief Brett Sprinkle.
Authorities say they have been working on a few leads, but if you recognize this suspect or have any information, you're asked to contact Newburgh Police or the Warrick County Sheriff's Office.
