Flint to hold citywide cleanup

FLINT, MI (WNEM) -

Flint Mayor Dayne Walling is asking residents to chip in and "Love Your City" during the month of May.

The goal of Love Your City Month is to clean up Flint by the Memorial Day holiday.  

All residents and businesses are invited to help in the month long citywide cleanup effort to beautify our city.  Republic Services will be providing special refuse pickups on certain dates to coincide with the initiative.

    Salvation army officials were able to quickly identify that man, because of surveillance cameras. The salvation army says the man is Joseph Haynes.

    After 147 years, a historic Henderson church is coming down, piece by piece. Now, there's a lot of treasures left inside that are going to be up for sale.
