Posted: Updated:

The Funk in the City will be hosting the Funk in the City Spring Art Festival on Saturday.

The event will take place in Haynie's Corner Arts District and starts at 11:00 a.m. Funk in the City will feature more than 100 artists/artisans from Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Tennessee, Ohio, Arizona and Colorado.

In addition to the amazing artists and artisans, there will also be fabulous food vendors to satisfy your hunger. Food Vendors include Acropolis, Kirby's Provate Dining, Greek's Pizza, Zesto and Jeannie's Gelato.

Live music will be provided by the Bokeh Lounge on their back patio starting at 11:00 a.m.

Admission is $5 and kids are free. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used to help support the fine arts programming at the Boys & Girls Club of Evansville.

Officials say the event is rain or shine.
