Spotty Rain Saturday: Rain will come down off/on tomorrow and it looks as if there may be more dry time than rainy periods as the bulk of the system stays west of us. We'll also stay relatively cool under a clouds sky as highs make it into the 50s and low-mid 60s (at most).
More on Sunday: The bulk of this weekend rain will fall on Sunday. Rain will be heavy at times, but most likely just steady and there aren't any thunderstorms expected as we stay too cool for storm development. Temperatures will be in the 50s for most and as highs as and low 60s in some Upstate towns.
Once the weekend rain is done, we have a shot at 1-2" of rain falling on many towns.
Wet Pattern Remains Next Week: We will be positioned east of a developing system centered in the Midwest which will keep a solid pull of moisture streaming in from the Gulf of Mexico. This will keep the chance for spotty rain (could be heavy at times) in our forecast for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week.
At this point, we know we'll stay in a cloudy and cool pattern. It's tough to tell how much rain will fall so we'll keep an eye on things and update you in the coming days.
