A park ranger at Audubon State Park discovered the body of 65-year-old Roy McMullin around 1:00 P.M. Friday afternoon.
Authorities say the his family came to the park and told park rangers they thought he was missing after he went fishing early Friday morning. The park ranger helped the family search the park and that's when officials say the ranger discovered McMullin in the water.
The Henderson Fire Department used a rope to pull the body from the water.
Neighbors said Roy lived alone.
The cause of death has not been determined at this time and HPD says they do not suspect foul play. The body was taken by a local funeral home.
