Ring means Change

A big ring around the full Moon early this morning usually brings weather changes and those changes start today. Byron says it'll be sun to clouds today with a few scattered showers by this evening.  Saturday, rain will be widespread, with the largest amounts falling over western Kentucky. Rain chances will linger through Sunday.  No severe weather this weekend.Warmer temps arrive next week with highs in the 70s with a shot at 80-degrees.

River Watch

The Wabash River will crest 11 feet above flood stage in Mt. Carmel on Monday, and 6 feet above flood stage in New Harmony on Tuesday.

Fatal Accident

Officials tell 14 News a woman is dead after an accident in Owensboro early this morning. Western Kentucky reporter Alyssa Hansen is live on scene with the details.

Home Invasion Arrests

A major development overnight in the Mt. Vernon home invasion case we first told you about on Wednesday.  Police have made an arrest in the case.  Nicole is live with the latest.
