Ivy Tech cancels Muncie classes after vague threat

Ivy Tech Community College has cancelled classes at two campuses in Muncie after they received what a college spokeswoman calls a vague threat.
Spokeswoman Kelly Lucas tells WTHR-TV that students and staff were evacuated from the two campuses Thursday afternoon.
Thursday night classes on the two campuses were canceled.
The Star Press reports a building housing part of the downtown campus was on lockdown for nearly three hours for police with dogs to sweep the building before it was cleared for re-entry. The newspaper says its offices are located in the same building.
The newspaper says the second campus also was searched.
