NEW ALBANY, IN (WAVE) – The case of a mother and her two children found dead in a New Albany park will be heard by a grand jury.
Floyd County Prosecutor Keith Henderson said he has received no new information from New Albany Police about the investigation into the deaths of Jamie Clutter, 35, and her children, Brandon, 10, and Katelyn, 6 months.
The three were found dead on March 13 by a passerby in a creek in Binford Park in New Albany. Autopsies showed the children died from drowning. No cause of death has been released for Jamie Clutter.
Henderson said the lack of information about the deaths of the Clutter family that has come out so far is unacceptable and he is not sure why New Albany Police have given him any information.
Henderson went on to say that at the conclusion of the investigative grand jury there will either be indictments issued or a report about the deaths of the family.
