Grammy winner 'Switchfoot' to headline fest

SANTA CLAUS, IN-----The Grammy Award winning alternative rock band Switchfoot will headline Holiday World's "Rock the World" Christian Music Fest in August.

Known for their hits Dare You to Move and Meant to Live, Switchfoot was awarded a Grammy in 2011 and has won a total of 11 GMA Dove Awards, including Artist of the Year, over the past decade.

Switchfoot will be joined on the main stage by Dove Award-nominated Kutless, double Grammy Award-winning Audio Adrenaline and Richmond, Indiana's own Adam Cappa.

During the day, a series of seven regional bands will perform in Holiday World. As the park approaches closing time, Rock the World's main stage performances will begin for the event attendees.

Rock the World Christian Music Fest will be held on Saturday, August 24. Information about tickets for the event, including premium-access seating, is available at HolidayWorld.com/RockTheWorld. Deepest discounts for tickets are available online through May 1.

Holiday World opens for the season on May 4; both parks will be open daily beginning May 10 with the debut of Hyena Falls, a complex of four in-the-dark water slides. For more information, visit the parks' website at HolidayWorld.com or call 1-877-463-2645.
