Sandbagging Along the Wabash
The Knox County Emergency Management Agency is lining up volunteers to help with sandbags as the area prepares for the Wabash River to crest. Officials expected flooding to affect travel and homes near the river in the coming days. Meanwhile residents living along the flooded Mississippi and Illinois Rivers are praying for an end to relenting rains. We'll have the latest.
Rain and Colder
Byron says there will be rain through early morning, with gradual clearing during the afternoon. Temperatures will sink with the passage of a cold front. Highs today will be 20 degrees cooler than yesterday. Temps will stay in the middle 60s for the rest of the week.
Boston Bombing Latest
MIT will hold a memorial service today for the campus police officer who authorities say was shot and killed by the Boston Marathon bombing suspects. Meanwhile, Federal authorities investigating the bombings say it appears so far that neither of the suspects had links to terror groups.
Red Cross Dine Out
You can be a hero just by dining out today. Restaurants across the tri-state have pledged to give a portion of their profits to the Red Cross Heroes Campaign. Nicole is live with the latest.
