BUCKNER, IL (KFVS) -

A Buckner man faces child pornography charges.

Richard Faling, 54, of Buckner is charged with failure to register as a sex offender and child pornography charges.

Franklin County Sheriff Don Jones says they received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. An arrest warrant was issued for Faling, along with a search warrant of his home.

When police arrived at his Buckner home, he was not there. They did allegedly find child pornography in his home.

Faling was later arrested by the U.S. Marshall's Office and taken to the Franklin County Jail.

His bond is set at $30,000 for failure to register as a sex offender, and on the child pornography $75,000. He must come up with 10 percent of this bond to post bail in order to get out of jail.

Cyber crime units with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Illinois State Police, Secret Service and U.S. Marshals Office all assisted in the investigation.
