Alcoa announces winners of Recylemania

Aluminum maker Alcoa announced the winners of it's annual Recyclemania contest.

IVY Tech got the honor this year out dueling UE and USI by recycling 34% of it's on-campus waste.

They earned the traveling trophy created by a local artist from crushed cans.

"It's the right thing to do," says Dan Schenk. "We all need to become more green that what we are and recycling and reuse is a major part of becoming green and we process a lot of waste."

IVY Tech also won a $1,500 check.
