Hundreds of people gathered in Downtown Evansville on Saturday morning for the "Rockin' River City Ride."
Organizers say over 500 people signed up to ride bikes, walk, and run in Downtown Evansville and on the green way.
The event is a part of Evansville's bicentennial celebration and First Lady Michelle Obama's '"Let's Move" campaign.
It helps to raise money for local non-profit organizations.
"You don't have to be a walker, a runner, or a rider," says Lisa Vaughn. "You can just come out and enjoy the day with your children or yourself and just be proud that we're part of Evansville."
The event continued on Saturday night with a Battle of the Bands at Casino Aztar.
