By Kenny Douglass, Digital Content Producer -
A power pole that snapped has caused power lines near Virginia and Highway 41 to go down.
The down lines caused power outages in that area and includes several traffic control lights.
170 Vectren customers are without power and crews will have to reset the pole.
You're asked to use caution in the area and treat the impacted intersections at 4-way stops.
Police on scene think that a semi had snagged a line and pulled the pole, snapping it.
They're also saying wind could have caused the line to sag or sway into the intersection and no charges will be made because it could be weather related.
The intersection at Virginia and Fares could be reopened by 3:00 P.M.
