OWENSBORO, KY (WFIE) -

Two men have been arrested and are facing drug charges after the investigation of an improperly parked vehicle.

Owensboro Police responded to the report of an improperly parked vehicle just before 9:00 p.m. in the 800 block of Pembroke Avenue Saturday night.

Police contacted the driver, 35-year-old Troy Lyons who was inside his apartment. They say he attempted to run away.

Officers caught him and took him into custody.

Owensboro Police Department Street Crimes detectives then executed a search warrant of the apartment occupied by Aaron Russell.

They say they found several items indicative of a methamphetamine manufacturing and trafficking operation, including five "one-pot" meth labs.
