Busy little bee!

Well, shame on me again.  I guess this is just proof that I need to write my blogs from my desk, no excuses, or else they just don't happen!  Meant to do it from home again last night, but after yoga and dinner I forgot!

Yesterday was a much less hectic day, though it did end with me going to another meeting!  A zoning meeting, nonetheless, that was 2.5 hours long!  Somehow, even with all the rain yesterday, I managed to stay dry and stay indoors for all my stories!  What a stroke of luck (more like a reward from up above)!

Today I've been a busy little bee, following up on that meeting last night (involving a major proposed development along University Parkway) and talking with a woman who woke up in the middle of the night to gunshots and found bullet holes in the home where she was staying!

I saw that story about the bullet holes in the police bulletin.  We decided I should go over there and see if anyone would talk to me about.  Usually, things like that don't really work out.  Someone's not home or they just don't want to be on tv.  The woman who answered was, thankfully, very nice and agreed to do the interview as long as I didn't identify her.  Can you imagine having bullets lodged in the front of your house?  They don't know where/who they came from!  Scary stuff!

Well, I'm about to hang it up for the weekend and head to an organ concert at UE!  I was invited to the Milton Z. Tinker Memorial Concert after doing a story about the Tinker Memorial organ that has fallen into disrepair at the Coliseum.  I can't say I've ever been to an organ concert before, but hey, there's a first for everything!  Jeff Lyons is the emcee, so I'm sure he will keep me entertained! :)

Have a great weekend!

Until next time,
