A head on crash in Putnam County, IN sends an Evansville woman to the hospital, and eventually to jail.

It happened Thursday night in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 near the 36 mile marker.

Troopers say that 57-year-old Pamela S. Goedde of Evansville had a blood alcohol level of .24%.

She was driving a black 2004 Honda Accord westbound in the eastbound lanes of I-70 and struck a tractor-trailer head-on.

Goedde was admitted to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis with what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation is ongoing and alcohol related charges are expected in Putnam County court at a later date.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
