Temps Take a Dive

A chill in the air this morning and the rain has moved out.  We got about 1 to 3 inches across the area.  High pressure will build in today and bring us partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 50s.  Another cold one tonight with scattered frost possible and lows in the mid to upper 30s.

Deadly Storms

People across the south are cleaning up today, after a round of violent storms pushed through the area. There was a reported fatality in Mississippi, and several injuries when the tornado hit near Dekalb in the eastern part of the state.  Meanwhile in Hazelwood, Missouri, more than two dozen homes were damaged or destroyed in the strong storms.

North Korea Latest

Tension remains high in Asia today after North Korea claimed it has "powerful striking means" on standby.

Health Initiative

There's a big health event happening this weekend. It's called the Black Barbershop Initiative, and five local barbershops are participating.  Nicole is live with that.

Neighborhood Clean-up

Several areas in Owensboro that will be spruced up this spring as the community comes together to make their neighborhoods a little cleaner.  Alyssa Hansen is live from Owensboro with more on that.

So enjoy your weekend, and we'll see you on Sunrise.
