Pedestrian hit while walking in the middle of a busy Evansville road.

According to officials, a person was hit late Thursday night by a truck traveling northbound on Burkhardt Road in Evansville. They say the driver didn't see the person walking in the middle of the road until it was too late. The person was taken to St. Mary's with serious bodily injuries. No word yet on if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident.

    A heated meeting Wednesday night over what Lincoln Estates management says is mis-information. Of their 112 units, a Lincoln Estates property manager tell us "only a few" people are being kicked out. He says those tenants did not honor the terms of their leases and management gave them "A few months" notice.
