Be prepared for severe weather in the Tri-State tonight

14 News is on alert for possible severe weather overnight as the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for most of the Tri-State until 3:00 a.m.

Take a few minutes to review your severe weather action plan, and be prepared to go to your safe place if warnings are issued tonight.

Jeff Lyons says to be sure you have a way to get the warnings even if you are asleep, like a weather radio or your cell phone.

Remember, we will live stream all severe weather coverage on WFIE, online, and the 14News and 14First Alert apps.
