Sex offender flashed kids at Anderson Kmart, deputies say

ANDERSON, SC (FOX Carolina) -

Deputies said a registered sex offender is accused of exposing himself to two children at an Upstate Kmart store.

Anderson County deputies said 48-year-old Kenneth Wright exposed himself to the kids inside the store located at 3801 Clemson Blvd. on Monday.

Deputies said Wright tried to flee the store, but Kmart employees were able to stop him until they arrived.

Wright is a registered sex offender, classified as a predator and was convicted in three other indecent exposure cases in 1991, 1997 and 2005 and lewd act on a child case in 2003.

Wright was charged with two counts of indecent exposure and one count giving false information while registering.
