Maybe a Record, then Be Alert

Temps surged into the lower 80s on Tuesday behind mild southerly winds, and Byron says we could set a record high today. Thunderstorms will hold off until later tonight and end early on Thursday.  We are still under a slight risk for severe storms, meaning several storms could be packed with large hail...damaging winds with a chance of isolated tornadoes.  Behind the front, temps will sink into the mid 50s Friday afternoon.  BE ALERT for severe storms later tonight through early Thursday.
