Dr. Pulcini was born in Chicago Heights, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate studies at Loyola University and earned his Medical Degree at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
Following his internship at the University of Wisconsin Medical Center, he trained in general surgery and then plastic surgery. He moved to Evansville and began practice in 1973.
He is the recipient of the Distinguished Teaching Award as Chief Resident in General Surgery, the ISMA Physician Community Service Award: for helping develop Emergency Medical Services in Evansville, and also the Michael Mason Fellowship in Hand Surgery.
He has been Chief of the Surgery Section and President of St. Mary's Medical Center's Medical Staff. Presently he serves on community service boards, including, the Board of Health, Mission Health, the Chamber of Commerce.
