UPDATE: The semi that fell over and blocked traffic in Henderson this morning is back upright.

Four tow trucks had to work to pull the rig back on its wheels.

At one point 50 vehicles were at a standstill on U.S. 41 North.

The wreck happened just before 8:00 a.m. Thursday in the northbound lanes in front of Long John Silver's.

The semi, carrying scrap aluminum, overturned and caught fire.

It also sprung a diesel leak which the fire department was called in to handle.

Kentucky State Police say the driver was taken to the hospital.

We're told he has cuts and bruises as well as possible neck and back injuries.

Troopers believe speed may have been a factor in the accident.
