Death toll from flooding in Argentina rises

The death toll from days of torrential rain in Argentina's Buenos Aires province has risen to 31.

At least 25 people were killed by flooding Wednesday in Argentina's eastern city of La Plata.

More than 2,000 people had to flee their homes to find higher ground.

Most of La Plata was swamped after almost 16 inches of rain fell in two hours.

La Plata is located about 30 miles south of the capital Buenos Aires.

Wednesday's deaths came after six people were killed by flooding in Buenos Aires on Tuesday.
