There are plenty of activities going on to keep the kids busy this spring break at the Owensboro Museum of Science and History.
If you and your kids are suffering from any cabin fever or looking for a new activity this week before it's time to hit the books again, the museum is offering lots of different events.
This morning, Amazing Facts About Birds is taking place.
Kids will learn some fun facts about unusual birds and get to make their own hummingbird feeders.
At noon, the museum invites visitors to meet its raptors, including learn what they are and how they survive and adapt.
Later this afternoon at the Polymer Open Lab, kids can create gummy capsules, dissect a baby's diaper, and make bracelets that change under UV light.
These are just some of the many activities that are planned over the next few days.
The museum has different labs and events scheduled through Saturday that cover various interests, especially if you've got a student at home who doesn't want the learning to stop.
