Carbondale police investigate home invasion

CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) -

Carbondale police are investigating a reported home invasion on Tuesday.

Police say it happened at a home in the 1200 block of East Grand.

Officers say two suspects forcibly entered the home.  One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.

The suspects took items from those inside then left the area in a red vehicle. 

No one was injured during the incident. 

The investigation into the incident is continuing.
