LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Kevin Ware returned back home to his brothers Tuesday afternoon.

The Louisville Sophomore Guard was released from an Indianapolis hospital around noon on Tuesday. He tweeted a picture with the caption "Back to my brothers I go." Two hours later, he walked into The Yum! Center practice facility on campus to meet with his teammates

As he walked in on one leg and crutches, WAVE 3 Reporter Jaimie Weiss asked him how he was feeling. He responded, "Good. Thank you." His mother Lisa Junior was right behind her son carrying the Midwest Championship trophy. "Thanks for all your support," she stopped to say. "Thank you so much. We appreciate it."

Once inside, each player had the opportunity to give him a hug according to Kenny Klein, Sports Information Director. Ware's girlfriend Brittany said everyone was crying. "It was very emotional."

She said Ware's doctors said his surgery went well. He had very little swelling, which she's been told is a good sign. She also said that Ware is "too eager" to return back to the basketball court.

Ware had surgery Sunday in Indianapolis after he broke his leg in the first half of the Elite 8 NCAA Tournament matchup between Duke and the University of Louisville at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Fan Paula Donahue was one of many who gathered outside The Yum! Center to greet Ware and get autographs from his teammates Tuesday. She said she and her dad were at the game in Indianapolis Sunday. "We couldn't tell what happened. We were on the opposite side, but we saw all the players go down on the floor. Everyone was on the phone trying to figure out what happened and everyone went silent it was crazy."

Louisville went on to beat Duke 85 to 63.

Klein said the team leaves for the Final Four in Atlanta Wednesday evening. While Ware tweeted he will be in Atlanta tomorrow, Klein said it is up to Ware's doctors if he can travel with the team.

Before they go, however, Klein said Ware will speak to the media. Ware told Klein he wants to thank everyone for the outpouring of support himself. He's expected to hold a press conference with his family and Coach Rick Pitino Wednesday afternoon.

The Republican-led House narrowly passed the Farm Bill on Thursday. The GOP-backed measure, which covers food and farm policy legislation, passed 213-211. It's a whopping $867 billion package that renews the safety net for farmers. But it's the Supplemental Nutrition Program (SNAP) changes that are controversial. The bill calls for tougher work requirements for SNAP recipients, known as food stamps. It could cause millions of Americans to lose benefits. So, what would...
