Dozens of parents attended a meeting Monday night at Haynes Middle School to express their concerns about a proposal to house three grades from Joelton Middle School while Joelton undergoes a year-long renovation.
Some parents said they feared Haynes, a choice school, would become overcrowded, but school leaders said there is plenty of room to house grades six, seven and eight in an unused section of Haynes Middle.
Each school will keep its own teachers, principals and athletic programs, the parents were told.
