Another early morning workout greeted the Auburn Tigers Monday, as Coach Gus Malzahn's squad went through a two-hour practice under clearing skies at the Auburn Athletics Complex practice fields. This was Auburn's fourth practice of the spring, and its second in pads.

"Today's practice set-up was very similar to Saturday, except we did not tackle at the end. We did go offense against defense in some situational work," Malzahn said after practice.  "We felt like our guys were trying to do what we asked.

"It's just a matter of fighting through fatigue and being more disciplined with their assignments. Big picture, it looked like we improved. It was a similar practice set-up and the guys know what to expect, so they should be better about execution of their drills and assignments. It takes a little bit of time."

Auburn returns to the practice field Wednesday morning. The Tigers are in their second week of spring workouts leading up to A-Day on Saturday, April 20, scheduled for a 1 p.m. CT kickoff at Jordan-Hare Stadium.  View complete information for all the events surrounding A-Day and purchase tickets at AuburnTigers.com/aday.
