TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Officials of Westfield Franklin Park issued a reminder to students and their parents that the mall continues to adhere to the citywide curfew ordinance and enforce its own code of conduct.

With spring break quickly approaching, Westfield officials reminded youth via letters to schools, that the mall has a code of conduct, which lists the guidelines and expectations for proper behavior in the shopping center.

"We work very hard to provide a comfortable, safe and pleasant environment for all our customers and therefore expect all who visit our center to respect others and behave appropriately," said Julie Heigel, marketing director. "Regardless of age, disruptive behavior is not acceptable in our shopping center. We work closely with the Toledo Police Department and offenders will be subject to consequences including ban or arrest."

In partnership with the city of Toledo, TPD, and Toledo Youth Commission, Westfield officials also reminded students of the City of Toledo Curfew Ordinance.

The ordinance has the following curfew regulations:

-For those ages 16 and 17, the curfew is midnight. If in public places, places open to the public, or in the street from midnight to 5 a.m., they must be with a parent or guardian, on the way home from work or a supervised activity, or responding to a life-threatening emergency at the direction of an adult or guardian.

-For those ages 11 to 15, the curfew is 11 p.m.

-For those under age 11, it is 10 p.m.

Youth should plan accordingly when selecting movie times, as the final movie on average at Rave Motion Pictures is 11:30 p.m., which may put them in violation of the city curfew.
