This weekend, the Daviess County Public Library will host Screen for a Cure, which benefits the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
This event is actually part of the national charity drive for the organization.
For one night, the library is bringing back Verite Cinema's Unscripted film series.
Several films will be shown and producer Lee Goldberg will offer some commentary via Skype from Hollywood.
That's just the beginning of Saturday's activities.
At 4 p.m., the event kicks off with a free concert in the library courtyard.
The films will be shown beginning at 6 p.m. in the screening room.
There will also be a silent auction, door prizes, and food and drinks.
Screen for a Cure is free to attend, but Family Video will be at the library collecting donations for the Lymphoma Research Foundation.
It's the country's largest non-profit organization that's devoted to funding lymphoma research and providing information and resources to people who suffer from the disease and their doctors who treat them.
Just as a reminder, everything starts Saturday afternoon if you're looking for a way to have fun while supporting a good cause.
