The Boys and Girls Club in Evansville had some special visitors on Wednesday.
About 20 firefighters from the Evansville Fire Department stopped by to serve a BBQ lunch and spend time with the kids.
About 150 kids were on hand for the Spring Break event, and it's something folks with the Boys and Girls Club tell 14 News, the children really enjoy.
"It's great. Our kids love when others come into the building and spend time with them, fire, police," said Ron Ryan, the Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club. "The kids will ask them about their job, what they do. They're always going to ask about fire, danger, and if they've saved anybody."
This isn't the only time members of EFD visit the club. They also hold an annual Christmas party for the kids.
