The boil advisory for some Downtown Evansville businesses has been lifted.
Part of Main Street in Evansville remains closed Monday morning after a water main break over the weekend. Main Street from Third to Fourth street remains closed.
The water department says the break happened around midnight on Friday.
Some businesses had red tags on their front door, warning about a boil advisory, but the advisory has since been lifted.
There are several restaurants on that block including: Subway, Angelo's and Hammerheads.
Repairs will begin Monday and crews say they hope to have the street open again by Wednesday.
