3 men killed in Louisville shooting identified

LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Three men who died after being shot in an apartment complex parking lot, located just outside of Shively, have been identified.

Louisville Metro police were called to the 3500 block of Georgetown Place just before 3:30 p.m. Sunday where LMPD detectives said two men were found dead in a green Ford Explorer. Another man was found dead in the parking lot.

Deputy Coroner Jim Wesley identified the man lying in the parking lot as Kavin Tandy, 31.

The victims found in the Explorer were in the driver and front passenger seats. The driver of the SUV was identified as Mark Fields, 23. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Rayshawn Stovall, 23.

All three men were pronounced dead at the scene from multiple gunshot wounds.

Homicide investigators have not given a motive and they are not saying how the shootings may have happened.
