Holy Name School Library is having its 31st annual used book sale this weekend.
The sale is on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Students started collecting donated books earlier in the month for this sale. Library assistant Angie Littrel says the school has collected over 50,000 books, all donations from the community.
The collection includes newer titles and even some dating back to the late 1800's.
In addition to thousands of used books, magazines, DVD's, CD's, video games and software will be available.
Organizer's of the book sale say proceeds will benefit the school's library program.
On Saturday, Littrel says you can buy raffle tickets for a UK basketball signed by Coach Calipari and team members. Those funds will go toward the Lane Goodwin Foundation.
