EVANSVILLE, IN (WFIE) -
The Bone Zone, "Carnival of Healthy Choices", is a new exhibit with a carnival theme that is meant to teach children about the importance of bone health.
It starts this Friday at the Evansville Museum.
There are tons of displays, interactive games, videos and hands on activities and a fun house mirror and simulated x-ray machine.
All of these displays teach as well as test children on how food and lifestyle choices affect their bone system.
The centerpiece is an exhibit called "The Hip Joint" it's actually a dance floor where you can tap out a tune with your feet.
The primary goal is to stress the importance of food and exercise choices to kids, and show them how those choices affect them later in life.
Bones grow the fastest when you're between 9 and 18.
It starts on Sunday and runs through June 23
It's inside the newly renovated area of the museum.
So they encourage school groups and families to visit.
